I never wrote about it, but I contacted my representatives about cutting 90 percent of our I-728 funding. I don’t want to go into it further right now, because I will get too upset.

I called my representatives to tell them that there needs to be more money for education in the economic recovery package. I suppose I could have e-mailed, but I figured they were getting-mail bombed by every Tom, Dick, and Harry, so I thought I’d leave a message.
I talked with a nice woman at Rep. Jim McDermott‘s office, who told me the representative agreed with me, but she’d pass along my message. I also left messages with Senators Maria Cantwell and Patty Murray.
How exciting! It probably won’t change anything, but at least I did my civic duty, right?
